#49 - 🌴 Ilhabela

Inspired by the wild beauty of Ilhabela, this painting captures a place where mountains meet the ocean in a continuous dialogue between strength and serenity. Surrounded by lush forests, hidden waterfalls, and endless horizons, the island invites a slower rhythm of life—one guided by nature rather than schedules.

Created during an artist residency, the work reflects a period of intentional disconnection from the noise of everyday life. Away from routines, expectations, and constant stimulation, the island became a space for observation, reflection, and creative freedom.

The flowing forms and vibrant colors evoke the energy of the natural landscape and the emotions that emerge when we allow ourselves to be fully present. Here, the sea represents openness and possibility, while the mountains symbolize grounding and inner strength.
